2017-2018中南大学外国留学生奖学金招生简章一、招生类别
本科生奖学金（四至五年）、硕士生奖学金（三年）、博士生奖学金（四年）及汉语进修生奖学金（一年）。
二、待遇
全额奖学金：含学费、生活费（含教材费）、医疗保险费和校内住宿费，其中本科生：2000元/月；硕士研究生：2500元/月；博士研究生：3000元/月。
部分奖学金：含学费和医疗保险费。
三、申请条件
1.申请者须为非中国籍公民，无犯罪记录，身体健康，成绩优异；
2.申请攻读学士学位者必须已获高中毕业证书，年龄不超过30周岁；
3.申请攻读硕士学位者必须已获学士学位证书，年龄不超过35周岁；申请攻读博士学位者必须已获硕士学位证书，年龄不超过40周岁；
4.研究生学位申请者须有较强的学术背景、科研和创新能力；
5.汉语进修生须为非汉语专业毕业或无汉语基础，年龄不超过30周岁；
6.已被我校录取且未获得其他任何形式资助的留学生。
四、受理申请材料截止日期：2017年5月31日。
五、申请须知
1) 登陆中南大学在线申请网站http://application.csu.edu.cn/member/login.do网上报名申请
2) 向学校递交下列申请材料，一式两份，材料概不归还：
1.填写《中南大学外国留学生奖学金申请表》，打印并签名，一式2份；
2.护照复印件(有效期半年以上)；
3.最高学历证明；
4.最高学历成绩单；
5.外国人体格检查表（六个月有效期）；
6.无犯罪记录证明；
7.报名费500元人民币（或90美元）缴纳凭证；
8.HSK4级成绩（汉语授课专业）或托福、雅思成绩及英语能力证明（英语授课专业）；
9.学习计划（仅限研究生）；
10.两位教授或副教授的推荐信（仅限研究生）；
11.未获得其他任何形式资助的声明书；
12.发表的论文和其他支撑材料（仅限研究生）。

2017-2018 Central South University Scholarship for International Students
1. Supporting Categories
Bachelor degree candidates: 4-5 years
Master degree candidates: 3 years
PhD degree candidates: 4 years
General scholar candidates of Chinese language learning : 1 year
2. Coverage
Full scholarship covers tuition fee, accommodation, medical insurance fee and monthly living allowance of 2000 RMB yuan for undergraduate students, 2500 RMB yuan for master degree students and 3000 RMB yuan for PhD degree students.
Partial scholarship covers the tuition fee and medical insurance fee.
3. Application Requirements
1> Excellent Non-Chinese citizens, with no criminal records and in good health.
2> No more than 30 years old for Bachelor degree study, who has a graduate certificate from the high school.
3> No more than 35 years old for Master degree study, who has a bachelor degree diploma.
4> No more than 40 years old for PhD degree study, who has a master degree diploma.
5> Applicants of postgraduate programs are required to have a strong academic background, innovated, and with a great capability of doing research.
6> No more than 30 years old for general scholar in Chinese language learning, who graduates from non-Chinese-taught majors or has the intention to learn Chinese language from a primary level.
7> International students who are not funded by other institutions other than CSU..

5. Application Procedure
1> Register online: http://application.csu.edu.cn/member/login.do
2> Submit following required application materials to the university in duplicate, which will not be returned:
l Printed online Application form for CSU with personal signature and photo
l Copy of the passport (within 6 months validity)
l Diploma of the Most Advanced Studies (Notarized photocopy)
l Transcript of the Most Advanced Studies (Notarized photocopy)
l Foreigner Physical Examination Form and copies of blood test reports (within 6 months validity)
l Non-criminal certificate with official stamp
l The copy of bank note for application fee RMB 500 or USD 90
l Transcript of HSK4 for Chinese-taught majors and IELTS\TOFEL or
any English proficiency for English-taught majors.
l Study Plan No less than 800 words (only for postgraduate candidates)
l Two letters of recommendation from different professors (only for postgraduate candidates)
l A statement for not being funded by any other institutions than CSU.
l Published essays or any other supporting materials (only for postgraduate candidates)
